The Carrigaline Court Hotel & Leisure Centre Cork is licensed to host Civil Ceremonies, with a choice of 3 different areas situated within our hotel to suit your requirements. The Kingfisher Suite or The Heron Suite on the first floor overlooking Carrigaline Town Centre can cater for groups of up to 70 guests. The Alders Suite on the ground floor can cater for larger groups up to 280 guests. The Marriage Notification Process:

You must attend, in person, at the office of the Registrar by prior appointment to give at least three months notification of your intention to marry. At this consultation you are presented with a Marriage registration form. While only three months notice is required by law, we advise that you the Registrar well before the intended date of marriage to receive a timely appointment.

At this meeting with the Registrar you must present full evidence of the following:

• Your name
• Address
• Age
• Marital status
• Nationality

In general, you will need to produce passports as I.D., original final decrees in respect of previous divorce (if applicable), P.P.S. numbers of the couple. Additional official documentation is sometimes required, you will be advised by the Registrar if this is the case. You will need to provide the details of the marriage, the intended date, the names and date of births of witnesses. Finally, you will require the details of the venue.

The HSE will advise you of the contact details of the Registrar that is closest to you. You must then present the Marriage Notification to them.
You will then need to meet our Wedding Coordinator Sinead who will complete the particulars on the documentation that apply to venue.
