Fota Wildlife Safari Park is on the scenic Fota Island Zoo in the heart of Cork Harbour and is set on 100 acres. It is a unique place where you can come face to face with free-roaming animals and birds from all parts of the world. Each visit is sure to bring its own fantastic memories.
Fota Wildlife Park features the recently opened Asian Sanctuary—with Asian Lions, Sumatran Tigers, an Indian Rhino and more. The cheetah run, tropical house and giraffe crossing are also must-sees. The development of the Asian Sanctuary over the past five years has enhanced the Park as an iconic international visitor attraction as well as serving the core values of conservation, education, and research.
Fota Island Events
Throughout the year Fota Islands Wildlife Park holds various events, with the main aim of the day is to combine fun with conservation.
There will be many activities organised, aimed at children and adults alike such as face painting, arts and crafts, yoga, music and talks.

Fota Island tickets cost are as follows, Adults (€17.20) and Children (€11.90). Note these are web tickets only.

Parking at Fota Island Park
Please note – if you choose to park your car at Fota, this means that your visit to Fota House’s grounds, walled gardens and arboretum are also included in the €3 car park charge, and monies raised from this charge go towards the upkeep of Fota House and Gardens.
