Haulbowline Park Cork
Haulbowline amenity Park was opened early for public use last January, with the official opening of the People’s Park on July 2021, launched by Taoiseach Micheál Martin and joined by Cork Politicians and county council officials.
With the official opening, it is aimed to help boost another major tourist attraction in Cork Harbour, like other attractions such as Spike Island.
Haulbowline, is the home of the Irish Naval Service and was until recently home of Ireland’s only steelworks!
Haulbowline Park in Cork, has undergone a €60m clean up operation and is now a stunning new park which has been extensively landscaped with over 200 trees, wildflower areas and is rich with biodiversity and wildlife.
Haulbowline park opening times
The park is gated and is open to the public from 8.30am – 7pm Monday to Sunday during the Spring/Summer months and 9am – 4.30pm during the Autumn/Winter months.
Visitors should be aware that the park gates will be locked at closing time
